3M™ Aluminum Foil/Reinforced Tape 1430 is a dead soft aluminum foil tape combined with a non-woven web. The pressure sensitive, acrylic adhesive offers a strong, permanent bond to many surfaces. The scrim reinforced foil provides easy handling for taping complex shapes or contoured surfaces.

It is a 5.5 mil, dead soft aluminum tape combined with a non-woven web. This backing is highly conformable and works well on uneven and contoured surfaces, as well as complex shapes. It provides excellent puncture resistance and will not tear as easily as many thin foil tapes. It can be torn by hand to ensure easy deployment and manipulation.
